    In case I never have been here and just see the menu I would say this... read more cant be good everything is too cheap so cant be any quality but how wrong that would be!
    The French owner and his Thai wife really serve the best food and perfect cooking at amazing prices like today I had Aussie beef Tenderloin perfectly cooked for 490 bath and that did include a salad a sauce of my choice and potatoes or rice, pasta if you prefer I had a huge portion of Gratinated potatoes which here is extremely good tasting. For value i can only put 5 dots and would be happy to give them 10 in possible as I cant imagine any other place with better value!

  • star rating  First time eating Bourguignonne (small pieces of beef that you cook shortly in hot oil) with friends at Hua Hin Thailand. It was a special Bourguignonne evening. Meat was good... read more but I am used to more tender meat when eating it in Europe. Quantities were just about right and chips good. Improved layout compared to what it has been with previous owner 1.5 years ago when I was at the place last time. Owner Manu is greeting people when arriving and leaving. Possibly to play French pétanque.
    Price acceptable.
    Liked to have the possibility to eat Bourguignonne at Hua Hin
    Disliked to have to wait for my chips

  • star rating  Went to l'occitan with my fiancee while we were in holiday in Bangkok. We heard so much about the incredible beef tartare so we thought it's a must try. L'occitan... read more prides itself as a french Mediterranean restaurant and it did not disappoint! For start we had tapas which included an aubergine caviar which was to die for. My fiancee had the duck dish for main which was cooked to perfection, I had the chicken and rosemary pasta! A friend who joined us had the pad thai (which was my first introduction to thai food), mind blown!

    First impression last long, safe to say will be back as we still haven't tried the beef tartare yet . So far dinner at l'occitan did not disappoint.

    Staff were amazing, courteous and attentive. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming.

    Merci beaucoup l'occitan, this was an experience worth reliving!
